Frequently asked questions

Can we do a custom tour?

Yes! Please contact me directly with custom requests and we can work together to design a fun experience around your interests and your budget. Recently customers have requested custom tours to NWTrek Wildlife Park, Point Defiance Park in Tacoma and an all day “best of Seattle” tour with cruise ship pick up and airport drop off!

What do I need to bring with me?

We will be out and about, so wear appropriate footwear for the weather. If it’s warm and sunny, everywhere we go can be done in flip flops! I will have water in the car for us.

What is included in the price of the tour?

Beverages, nibbles and sweets are included in your tour, however for the Cannabis, Coffee and Dessert tour, any cannabis products/consumables are your responsibility.

What is our transport?

I have a brand new Ford Edge with a panoramic moonroof!

I have mobility challenges, can you accomodate me?

I can fit a standard wheelchair in the back of my SUV, but I do not have a lift. If you can get in and out of my car (I’m happy to help!) we can tailor a tour to minimize walking and stairs. Give me a call and we can create an experience everyone in your party can enjoy!

How long are the tours?

Approximately 3 hours. Seattle traffic is notoriously bad, but I’ve scheduled the tours to avoid the worst times to drive around the city. If you have dinner reservations, or theatre tickets or a flight, it’s best to allow up to 1 hour after the tour is scheduled to end to be back at the pickup point, just to be on the safe side.

Can kids come on the tour?

Kids 8 and up are welcome on tours, except the Cannabis, Coffee and Dessert tour for obvious reasons! đŸ™‚

What is cancellation policy? What if it snows?

Please cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure of the tour for a full refund. In the rare (and amazing!) event that it snows, please call/email/text. Seattle is a very hilly city, and driving can be dangerous. BUT, there are still tours we can do entirely on foot! If you decide against a snowy walking tour and/or your tour is canceled due to snow, you will get a full refund.

Can our group play our own music during the tour?

Yes! This is your adventure, choose your own soundtrack!

I have 5 people in our group, can I still book with you?

Sorry, my car can only hold 4 passengers and the driver.

What is your favorite thing to do in Seattle?

There are so many amazing things to do here, I can’t pick just one! I often suggest to travelers that Seattle as seen from a boat is something special. So, the best value for your money on a boat in my opinion is to hop on a ferry going to Bainbridge Island (35 minutes each way) or Bremerton (1 hour each way)! On those routes, walk on passengers only pay westbound ($8.65 per person) and the boats just go to those places and come right back. You will have to disembark at the endpoint for the security sweep, but then you can get right back on. Washington State has the largest Ferry Fleet in the nation with 23 boats. The boats on those routes are huge, have plenty of comfortable seating, restrooms and offer beer/wine and food. So, for $8.65  you could potentially have 2 hours on a boat in the Sound. If you time it right, you can get a sunset sail westbound, and return to see the city all lit up at dusk/dark from the water…it’s awesome and a great deal! (Bonus hint: there is a terrible, cash-only dive bar right at the ferry dock in Bremerton called the Drift Inn. If you like dive bars, stay for an hour, and get the next boat back! Make sure you check the ferry schedule, so you don’t miss the last boat back to Seattle if you go late!)
