Georgetown and Alki Beach

Georgetown is one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city, full of art, history, bars, small indie businesses and more! Alki Beach has the most amazing views and a So Cal beachy-vibe. These are places visitors never hear about and are true gems.

Georgetown is Seattle’s oldest neighborhood, and as of now, still retains some of the incredible architecture of early Seattle. We will learn about the amazing (sometimes sordid) history of the neighborhood, taste locally made chocolates, sip beverages, shop for records, comic books, vintage stuff, play pinball, view art and explore the funky bits of the city! If you like vintage shopping, tour on a weekend so we can visit the Georgetown Trailer Park Mall, which is full of locally made art and vintage delights and happens to have Seattle’s best cookies. Then we are off to West Seattle to wander in the Junction and head to Alki Beach for incredible views. Seriously, this is fantastic!
